RSV

For all you parents who have had a little one with RSV, I now completely understand everything that goes on when your child has RSV. Poor little Jaxon got this nasty virus right after I went back to work and right before Halloween. He started getting stuffy and a cough which I thought he had picked up from Kelbie but when his fever kept spiking and he wasn't eating like normal we took him to urgent care.  I am so glad we did since his RSV test turned up positive. They put him on breathing treatments and told us to follow up with the doctor the next day. His doctor was out so we saw another one in the practice and he said he was doing good and not to worry unless his breathing got worse then we were to take him back to the er. Well Tuesday I noticed his breathing was more labored so it had me freaking out and we ended up back at the doctor to do a pulse ox and everything. The doctor didn't seem concerned with his levels so he told me to up the breathing treatments to every 2 hours and prescribed him an oral steroid. Needless to say that did wonders and in about 2 days he was starting to feel much better and after about a week he was back to his old happy, eating self.

He fell asleep during it!

Love his Ducky mask at home!

This was taken on day 2 of being sick. Poor little guy was miserable.
I am so glad he is better now and that we didn't have to stay in the hospital during all of this.

Halloween 2013 Edition

I Love Lucy
We kept Halloween low key this year because Jaxon had been sick with RSV, Kelbie was just starting to feel better from her cold and I had a sinus infection. We dressed the kids up and hit a few houses in our neighborhood before calling it a night. Kelbie had a blast going door to door saying Trick or Treat and everyone loved how cute Jaxon was as Superman! I am looking forward to next year when Jaxon can participate too.
Her wig was to die for but she wouldn't wear it out of the house!

Pictures of the 2 of them are not easy to get, one is always crying!

Happy Birthday Princess Kelbie!

This year Kelbie wanted a Princess birthday party. She has recently become obsessed with all the princesses. It started with Cinderella and has moved to Belle, Snow White and now Ariel. Thanks to pinterest for some of the ideas because I could have never thought of this myself. It was a good turn out with only a few kids but they all seemed to have fun. I wish the weather would have been a little nicer so that the kids could have played outside since I had no activities planned but like I said they all seemed to have fun.

First Day of School 2013

This year Kelbie is in the 2 year old Puppies class. Having a fall birthday kinda stinks but at least she has kept a few of her friends from last year in her class this year. She is in Mrs. Suzys class, she is Bella's mom. Bella is Kelbies best friend from the Bunnies class last year so I was very excited to hear that she was her teacher. As you can tell by the pictures she wasn't to excited to be going back to school, but I am happy to report that she is loving every minute of it now and has made a ton of new friends.

Ballerina Kelbie

Kelbie has been begging to do dance class for months. I did my research on where I wanted her to take classes from. I originally thought Little Gym would be nice with my experience there but then I found Center Stage and loved how they are a competitive dance company. Of course at the age of 3 I am not necessarily looking for that but I wanted her to be somewhere if she choose to keep it up she will be with a good company and can dance competitively later on. Needless to say she loves it and enjoys going every week and asks about going even on days that aren't dance days. She is in a small class which I like and the kids and moms are super nice. Here are pictures from her first day of class.
