Southminster Fall Fest

Fall Fest at Kelbie's school had to be rescheduled due to the nasty weather we have been having in Texas. The kids had a blast. There were a lot of new games this year. Both we sad that they did not have bounce houses this year because of the weather, but they enjoyed themselves.

She got very into bowling

Jaxon would have stayed at the soccer station all day

I thought the live dinosaurs they brought in would be a hit with the kids since they both love watching Jurassic Park, but the pictures tell it all. They were both terrified and couldn't get away fast enough.

Priceless face

A snow cone makes everything better

Misc Halloween Adventures

Since Kelbie spent the night with the Cousins, Jaxon got to go the store with me. He enjoyed a free cookie and then he found the Hulk mask. I could not even take him serious with that on. He loves it and asks to wear it everyday. He sure is a handsome Hulk though.

We had to get a Spider man for sissy so she didn't feel left out.

Every year we do a Character parade at school the last Friday in October. This year we were crayons. As was half of our school, but that's okay. We looked cute and had fun being crayons.
Ihop had free spooky face pancakes the night before Halloween, so we took advantage of it and went to get Breakfast for dinner. The kids seemed to enjoy them. Jaxon was more into the bacon though.

Halloween 2015

The kids were super excited that they got to go Trick or Treating with their cousins this year. Were were really hoping the monsoon weather would clear up and thankfully it did. We did get a few sprinkles while we were out but nothing we couldn't handle. Jaxon had a blast going up to the doors and saying Trick or Treat. He even did really well following the 1-2 candy rule at each house. He got a little tired at the end, took a little rest in the wagon and was good to go for the last couple of houses. Kelbie loved going with Trystan. They held hands and went up to almost every house together. She did slip pretty bad on the way back to Danny and Shannon's house and wouldn't put weight on her ankle for a little bit, but after an outfit change, some ice, some candy and getting to spend the night with her cousins, she was fine. I think it scared her more then anything. I am so proud of them for following the rules and listening while we were out and even now that Halloween is over, when they want candy they ask for their buckets and only eat the number of pieces I tell them they can have, then put their buckets back. They sure are growing up fast. Pictures from our day and night.

Jaxon picked out his own Halloween shirt this year.
Of course it was Paw Patrol

She didn't want him to give her a hug.

Robin and Batgirl to the rescue

He loved the mask. I was surprised since he hated when we first
got the costume.
