Glendy's Water Babies

Kelbie completed her first Water babies class last week. It is a Survival Swim class that teaches her how to come up from underwater and float if she were to ever fall into the pool. She was very upset the first day but did very well and continued to get better as the week went on. By the end of the week she was able to float pretty much unattended (we still have to work on her arms), go under water all different directions and get herself to a float position and jump from the step and get to a floating position. We even missed a class due to weather and she still did very well. I have to say I am very proud of her and I am glad we spent the money for her to learn this. She also got a littler certificate at the end of the week, which I thought was really awesome. We will definitely do it again next year. ALL ABOUT THE 90′s!

1. Which boy band was your favorite and your favorite song?
.Backstreet Boys and the only reason I even liked them was because my best friend was totally obsessed. The more I listened to them the more I somewhat liked them. I couldn't tell you my favorite song, but I do still own a few of their cds and I know the words to pretty much every song.

2. Your favorite spice girl?
I didn't really have a favorite. I know a couple of their songs and I watched the movie but I wasn't a huge fan. I guess if I had to pick one I would pick Posh Or Baby spice

3. Did you ever try the orbit drink?
No I don't think so. I don't even really remember what that was to be honest.

4. What brand of clothing were you in to?
American Eagle, Abercrombie, Hollister. Basically all the popular stores that my mo refused to buy me much from because the price were and still are outrageous.

5. Did you watch TGIF?
I have no idea what show that is.

6. What news story in the 90′s do you recall?
I didn't really watch the news in the 90's. I was young.

7. List which you think had the best talent. Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore, Brittney Spears, and Christina Aguilera.
I liked them all in the 90's. I think my favorite was Mandy Moore because she was very down to earth and seemed genuine. Christina has a great voice, Jessica is okay ( I liked her and Nick's reality show) and well Brittney was a good singer but she went down hill and now I can't stand her.

8. Did Marilyn Manson creep you out?
Umm yes and he still does.

9. Who was your BFF?
In the 90's... I think  I had a new best friend every week. Here are the ones I can think of and they all played some part in my life during the 90's... Jenna Canine, Melody Williams, Shannon Piper, Kelly Metz, Victoria Smith, Nadine Kanga, Kelly Lawless, Samantha Ischy, Jessica Todd, Christina Maya... Most of these girls have new last names but hey that is what they were when we were friends.  I am also sure there were more but I can't think of them.

10. A picture of you in the 90′s.
I don't have any on my computer. I would have to find some at my parents house. I know there are a bunch from Middle school. The late 90's.
