Ice Cream Date

Kelbie and I went on a quick ice cream date after dinner one night. We love Menchies and its right by our house so it was super quick. This kid cracks me up with her faces. She also will only eat white (Vanilla) and she added sprinkles and m &ms this time. This was also the same day she decided to cut her hair but hey she couldn't be punished forever. 

It was bound to happen........

Kelbie found the scissors and cut her own hair. You can't see from the bottom picture but she got a good chunk off the left side and luckily her hair was pulled back so I am able to hide it on most days. I did the same thing when I was her age although mine was my bangs and very unable to be hidden. 

San Antonio

The first day of Spring Break we headed to San Antonio. I heard about this amazing Specialist up there that only does Pediatric Microtia and was able to get an appointment with him. So we drove up Sunday, did some shopping in San Marcus and then stayed at my Aunt's house. Her appointment wasn't until 11 am so Kelbie got to play at the park for a little bit before. The appointment lasted forever so it was a good thing. We found out all kinds of great information about her surgery and how it all plays out. There is also this hearing device called a Baha that will help her hear better out of her bad ear until the surgery. It really is a cool little thing. I am trying super hard to get it for her but insurance and I are having different opinions. I guess only time will tell if we can get it. Here are a few pictures from out adventure.

There is an amazing lady our in Sienna that does custom shirts. She did the kids cousins shirts and I loved her work so I had her do a few more for me and we got these awesome Big Sis/ Lil' Bro shirts.

Strawberry Picking

After trying for over a week to get out to the strawberry patch, they finally had plenty of strawberries and the weather was alright so we headed out this past Saturday to get some strawberries and a few other fruits and veggies. This was Kelbie's second time to pick strawberries and she loved it. She knew exactly what she was supposed to do. I definitely think this will be something we do at least once a month. Jaxon even had some fun even though he stayed in the stroller. He seemed to like all the colors and all the people there.
