Easter Photoshoot

I decided to take a few Easter picture of the kids at our house a few days before Easter instead of taking them somewhere to get them done. Here are the favorites that I got. Jaxon was all about the plastic eggs and bunny ears. Kelbie didn't even want her picture taken so I was lucky to get the few decent ones that I got.

Easter Sunday

We spent Easter with my family like we do every year. We started by the kids opening their baskets from the Easter bunny before heading to church in Sienna. We love the service in Sienna because they do an egg hunt before for the kids. It took Kelbie a minute to get used to the egg hunt again this year, but maybe next year she will go right out with hesitation. After church we headed back to Danny and Shannon's to do lunch, let the kids play and do another egg hunt in their yard. Kelbie was much better with the egg hunt there. We couldn't leave without opening baskets from Nana and Granddaddy. Needless to say the kids had a great Easter and were exhausted form the morning. Hope everyone had a great Easter as well.

Disney on Ice

Disney on Ice came back to Houston and we weren't going to miss it this time. I didn't tell Kelbie until that afternoon where we were going. She didn't' quite understand at first but once we got there she seemed to enjoy herself. Of course we had to get a toy, popcorn, a snow cone and cotton candy. It was a really cute show. Kelbie's favorite part was the princess section. She was a little sad that Rapunzel wasn't part of the cast, but she did get to see pretty much all the others.

This is her excited face :)

A few pics from April...

A few random pictures from the month of April off my phone so far... Sometimes they push me to my boiling point but they are amazing little people and I wouldn't change a thing.

Silly glasses during bathtime

A new found love for the bucket

Spring Pictures

As much as I dislike the company her school uses they always seem to get good pictures of her smiling. I love them all. I just don't like how they didn't' comb her hair before they took the pictures. Its looking a little straggly.

Open House & Easter Party 2014

I finally was able to make it to a party at school for Kelbie. Easter party is really the last party of the year so I decided to take a few hours off work and go see her. They had snacks, cookies and cupcakes before heading out to the courtyard for an egg hunt. She was so excited to see me there and didn't' want me to leave after the egg hunt. Here are some pictures form the party. She is sitting next to her "boyfriend" Tate and friend Sophia. They all had class together last year.

Tate was enjoying his cookie a lot

Mrs. Suzy was absent, but the sub was great. She is explaining to the kids
that they can only get 7 eggs.

Spring Open house was on April 15th. They kids got to show up there classrooms and they crafts they had been making, then we headed to chapel for a little performance. Kelbie never participates in these because she always sees up and wants to sit with us. This time we sat in the back and she saw us but we got her to stay up there for the whole thing. At the end she didn't participate but we were so proud of her for staying on the stage the whole time.
