Jaxon 7 months

In honor of Jaxon turning 7 months he decided he wanted to start crawling. He literally a few days before he turned 7 months started crawling and now he is all over the place. He is a ball of energy. Still onlyhas 2 teeth but I am pretty sure the top two are working their way through. Now that he can crawl he hates to be left alone to play. If Kelbie is int he living room with him he is fine but if everyone leaves him he will come find someone. Also taking his pictures have become a chore now that he is mobile (see example below). He is a big daddies boy these days too. As soon as James gets home he starts laughing and smiling and doesn't want James to leave him alone. I do like a little break in the evenings now, but I miss my baby snuggles.

Mechanics in the Making

I think I have two future mechanics on my hands. Jaxon helped James work on his motorcycle this weekend and out of the blue Kelbie decided she needed to work on her car. She even asked James to get her some tools. What daddy wouldn't follow through with that request. We went out and bought her, her very own tools and but them in a tool box so she can work on her car with daddy. Absolutely adorable.

Cousins

Shannon and I purchased cousin shirts for the kids. Shannon was finally able to get a few shots of all of them together wearing their shirts. I think she did a good job considering she was by herself and had 4 kids under 5 to get to sit still and smile.

I think the facial expression on Brayden is beyond pricless.
The girls seem to be enjoying the pictures and the boys, not so much.

Valentines Day

Kelbie and Jaxon got to spend valentines day with their cousins this year. Their babysitter went out of town and Aunt Shannon offered to watch them. They had a blast. Kelbie and Brayden had their valentines parties at school and then they had the rest of the day to play together. Once we got home Kelbie and Jaxon got to open their gifts from us. Here are a few pictures from the day.

Bath time Fun

Kelbie loves when she get to take a bath with Jaxon. She loves showing him all the toys, helping wash him off, everything. I captured a few cute pictures of them playing together in the tub. I hope they continue to like playing together as the get older.

Jaxon 6 Months

Half a year already? Now time is really flying by. At 6 months old Jaxon can roll in both directions, scoot all over the place, sitting by himself for a couple minutes and trying very, very hard to crawl. He has on bottom tooth in and the other one is almost in. You can see it under the gum but can't feel it yet. He has started enjoying meal time. We do Oatmeal and a fruit in the morning, rice cereal at lunch and rice cereal and a veggie at dinner with bottles in between. Sometimes he loves food other times he is more interesting in just playing with the spoon. I also started giving him fresh food like banana, avocado, broccoli and he will  mess with it for a bit then get frustrated since he doesn't really eat it. He also kept his awesome blue eyes which i am so happy about. He is for sure a ladies man. He loves playing with all his toys and Kelbie. He also loves to laugh and be tickled.
