May Already?

Is it really already May? Time sure  is flying by this year. I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing, but maybe the time is just going by fast for me.

Our anniversary trip was a bust and I am hoping that the hotel is going to give us somekind of gift card or something for how awful the hotel was. I dont get how they can have all these rave reviews and not be anything like that once we got there. A little frustrating since that was our last big trip together until after the baby is born. James was really upset with the way things were, but what can you do. I do not recommend the Hotel Galvez in Galveston if you are looking  for a nice place to stay.

We are  almost done with our semester at work which means we are all getting ready for the big show. Only 4 more weeks until our Summer semester starts. I am going to miss working there as much as I am now, but what  can I do. I really do need to find a part-time job for summer though so if you know of anything please let me know.

Vicki and Adam are getting married in 22 short days. It seems like just a few months ago that they got engaged and started planning their wedding. I am looking forward to going up there for a few days although I do wish it was for a little bit longer so that I actually had sometime to visit with Vicki. I am hoping that the lady I am taking my dress to this weekend or next can alter my dress so that it will fit, otherwise I really dont know what I am going to do. I am sure it will all work out though.

24 more days till we find out the sex of the baby. I am really excited about that and I think James is too. He wants another boy and I am beginning to feel that it might be a boy. I am going to have to start thinking about all the baby things that are for boys that we haven't decided on yet. If we have a girl I am good to go, becasue  I have almost all the things picked out already. James is helping pick out all the stuff for  a boy so I think that makes him a little more excited. I am ready to start decorating the nursrey and paiting it. I need to find a place that has cute letters that we can put the name up on the wall. Probably in white that way we can paint them to match the theme or the room.  I know I plan way earlier then needed but that is just how I am.

Well I am off to work then home to do some laundry if our dryer will start to work again. Really frustrating that it worked last night and this morning it won't work at all. I am hoping that my dad will be able to tell me what is wrong with since he works with them all the time. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

One Year of Marriage

Tomorrow we leave for our Anniversary trip! I wish it was longer then it is going to be but with my work schedule that just isn't going to happen. We are heading  down to Galveston for the night to enjoy the beach and a nice hotel. I can't believe that on Sunday we will be married for One Year. It really does seem like just yesterday that we got married. I never thought the first year would go by so fast. It has been a very interesting first year that is for sure and it wasn't always the easiest, but we made it though and are looking forward to many more to come.  Here are  just a few things we did in our first year of marriage:

* Had an amazing honeymoon in Jamica and Grand Cayman
* Purchased a new/used car
* Visited James's family in  Kansas for Thanksgiving
* Adopted a new puppy (Jersey)
* I started working at a job I really love
* Found out were are pregnant due in October
* Moved out of the first place we called home as a married couple
* Moved into our first house

Those are the big things I can think of. Pretty normal first year of marriage I guess. I am looking forward to many more to come and adding our first little one to the picture to enjoy the times with us. I love you James and am so happy that you were brought into my life. Things really are pretty perfect when we are together. Hopefully my camera cord will appear this weekend or we will get a new one so I can upload belly pictures as well as our Anniversary Trip pictures when we get back. I know we didn't know each other when we got married but I am glad that we have had the chance to become friends over the past few months thanks to the Davenports. Enjoy your weekend away to the  Hill Country. Drink some for me please :)

So many things, So little time!

Yay the house is almost completely a house and we have internet up and  running. Only after having to deal with the company more the need to get it up and running.  I am ready to get all the boxes unpack so we can  get some pictures up and start planning our house warming party.  After  Sunday everything should be done minus the babies room, which  we will be doing this summer once we find out what our little one is going to be. We have themes already picked out and I have ideas for decorating once we know.

I can't belive in 2 short weeks we will be celebrating  our 1 year anniversary. Nothing huge planned for us but we are taking a mini vacation that weekend. I am excited to hopefully work on my tan for Vicki & Adam's wedding if the weather is going to be nice. I will need to find a cute swimsuit that covers the baby belly before then though. James's doesn't think my bikini is the best choice for this summer. I guess I kinda have to agree this time around.

Well off to watch some tv and get ready to head back to work tomorrow. I caught a stomach bug Sunday, fever and all, so I haven't done much but sleep and fight off the fever the past couple of days. Fever is finally gone and I am no longer getting sick so it is back to work for me tomorrow. Yay!!!

Willyard Life

We are finally living in our house. It is almost complete. Just a few more rooms and small things to go. It is nice to finally have our own house again. I am really excited to be able to get started on the nursury here in a couple of months. We have already picked out the names for our little bundle of joy, now we are just waiting to see if it is a boy or a girl. James wants a boy and I would like a girl. I will be happy with either though. I hope to get some pictures taken of our house soon, I just have to find our camera. I will be posting those on Facebook probably instead of here. Long story on that! Also what was in the water in the month of January? I have heard that several people I went to school with are having babies in October and a few in September and November. Two of them are having twins. Totally crazy. It must be baby season again. Hopefully we will have our computer hooked up this weekend so I can write more often and post some past due pictures.

Baby Willyard

Well I had another doctors appointment this past Monday and everything looks good. The baby actually looked like a baby this time during the ultrasound. It was kicking its legs all over the place. The heartbeat was 163. Not sure if that means Boy or Girl but we will find out on May 24th. James and I are both really excited about the months to come and I really can't wait to know what we are having. James is hoping for another Boy and I would like a Girl. If you would like to place your guess, please due, it is interesting to see what everything thinks we are having. Hope everyone has a good Easter.
