Baby Fever?

It seems that everyone is having babies again. I am very happy for everyone that is expecting a baby this Spring but at the same time I am a little sad that James and I haven't gotten to make that announcement for number 2 yet. I am keeping my head high and hoping that we will get that surprise soon. I am definitely having baby fever right now and will be very excited when we can announce that we are having number two. Congratulations to all the expectant mommies out there that I know, I hope your pregnancies are smooth and that you enjoy every minute.

Whose House, K's House!

Some friends of ours were getting rid of this amazing playhouse that her older boys have out grown. They were just going to put it on the curb for trash pick up when she decided to see if Kelbie would like it. Of course I said yes. I knew Kelbie would love it. I wish I had pictures of the very first time she saw the house because it was priceless. She didn't want to leave.

After about a month we finally got the play house over to our house and got it painted and put on the slab so that she could play in it. Now we aren't finished yet but the outside painting is done and a few more things have been added since these pictures.

The whole inside still needs to be done before we have her party but she doesn't mind playing in it just the way it is. We also have some flower to add in the window pots and all around the base. Its a work in progress but it has turned out pretty good. James really took this project into his hands. He wanted to make it special for Kelbie.

Finding Nemo...?

Well it's not exactly Nemo, but hey that is what we will call him. The movie Finding Nemo was on Disney a couple months ago so I let Kelbie watch it thinking it might hold her interest for say 5 minutes. Well she ended up watching most of the movie and has begun to love fish even more then she did before. One day we were out shopping and I decided to take her into Petsmart and let her pick out a fish. We already had everything for the fish so it was just a matter of picking out the perfect fish.

 

Even though I would have like a much more colorful fish and a different kind this is what we got because we already had the water cleaner and the food. So here we have Kelbie's first offical pet of her own. He really doesn't have a name but Nemo sounds good since that is what kinda started this whole thing.
