Elf on The Shelf

This year was the first year we decided to do Elf on the Shelf. Kelbie is 3 and with Jaxon just being born a few months before I thought I would be something really fun for her. At first she didn't really understand but now she is constantly asking where Rosie is. Yes her name is Rosie and I must say it was fun but I had a hard time remember to move that silly elf every night. I am hoping next year will be a little easier. Here are a few pictures of Rosie's adventures with us this year.

Kelbie's 1st Build-A-Bear

I had taken Kelbie to the mall with me one day to get a new charger for my Ipad and she saw the Build-A-Bear store. I let her go in and look and of course she found the My Little Pony section. She was so excited and I told her we would do it after Christmas. Well turns out we were at the mall again before Christmas so I took her in to make whatever animal she wanted. She picked Rainbow Dash. She didn't understand that she had to wait her turn to stuff the pony but once it was her turn she loved watching the stuffing go in and doing all the fun things with the heart. We added the My Little Pony theme song in her foot and picked out an outfit before going to the computer and naming her. She loved it and plays with Rainbow Dash daily. We will definitely be doing it again but maybe in a few more years. I am promising myself not wait so long to let Jaxon do his first but I do think Kelbie was at the perfect age for it.

Christmas Photos

Getting pictures of both kids in the allotted 10 minutes that JcPennys is somewhat challenging but I was very happy with the way they turned out this time. We got smiles out of both kids and cute ones of them together. Now Santa was a different story but we had no tears from either in the picture.

Jaxon 5 Months

5 months already. Where is the time going. Jaxon is becoming more and more active. He loves to play in his exersaucer and put anything in his mouth. He has learned to roll from his back to his tummy so we now officially have a tummy sleeper just like Kelbie. He is starting to like baby food and rice cereal a little better now but definitely prefers a bottle. Still not sleeping through the night but pretty much. He gets up to eat around 4am and then will go back to sleep until around 6am. He goes to bed around 7-730pm. He also loves to play and be close to Jersey. Best Pals I can tell.

Tummy Time

Little man is finally enjoying Tummy Time. He can even even roll himself from back to tummy when he gets board on his back. Now if he could just figure out how to roll from tummy to back so he doesn't get so frustrated.

I love that Kelbie enjoys playing with Jaxon. She still has a hard time
knowing what toys are hers and what toys are his, but we will get there!
