Tis the Season

As Christmas fastly approaches, I am once again behind on shopping. I have only picked up a few things for Kelbie and no one else. James got his big present for his birthday so he has nothing under the tree this year. I am heading to brave the stores this weekend in hopes of getting all my family and Kelbie taken care of. I also can't forget the presents from Santa.
I am finding it extra hard this year to find things for Kelbie. This kid has everything. Okay well not everything but it sure seems like it. James and I had talked about doing a big gift from Santa this year but decided maybe just a few small things. Last year she got a swing set and this year we were looking into a battery car, a mini cooper to be exact, I have decided that I can't keep buying huge gifts every year from Santa. Soon she will be able to tell me exactly what she wants and I should save the huge spends on the things she can actually tell me that she wants.

We are going to go and brave Bass Pro Shop this Sunday in hopes of a decent picture with Santa. Last year she was in tears when she saw him, I kinda expect the same thing this year. I think she is the stranger danger phase because she doesn't really like anyone but me. I love that most of the time but sometimes I wish she would love her daddy just as much so that I could get somethings done.

I am also looking forward to taking her to look at Christmas lights. She seems to be really into it this year. We decided to not decorate the outside this year so all we have up is our tree and stockings. She loves looking at the lights at my parents house and always wants to be outside when they are on. We always go out to Pecan Grove since their lights always seem to be better then others.

This post was a bunch of blabber so until next time, I will try to get some pictures of the munchkin in the holiday spirit to share and write an update on our no exciting lives soon. Happy Holidays everyone!

Oliver

Meet Oliver:

He is the newest member of the Willyard family. He is about 7 to 8 weeks old. We found him on Hilcroft and 90 going to my parents house a couple weeks ago. He was almost hit be a car several times and James and I just going bare to see him get hit. We picked him up and took him home with us. He was very malnuristed, had a bloated tummy, horrible fleas, and some open wounds. I dropped him off at the vet on Monday so they could look him over. The doctor wasn't totally sure if he would pull through, but she didn't exactly say that. She said to keep him warm, clean, gave him some worm treatments and an antibiotic and to follow up in a week. On our second visit he got a better bill of health but still wanted us to continue the antibiotic and come back in another week. When we returned for our 3rd visit he was doing much better, all the worms were gone, he wasn't as bloated, he had fattened up a little and the fleas were gone, but he had developed a mange so we are now treating that with wipes once a day and they gave him his first set up shots and a does of advantage to see if that would help with the mange. So after a week and a half of not knowing for sure if he would pull through it looks like he is ours to keep.

He loves to run around the house and keep me up all night. He is very active but also a little stinker too. Him and Indiana do not get along and I don't see them getting along anytime soon, but he is here to stay so hopefully they will start to get along. The dogs on the other hand love him. Especially Jersey they love to play together and I have even caught them sleeping together. I will have to try and get a picture next time.

Kelbie is very excited to finally have her very own kitty that she can pick up and play with. She is always very concerned with what he is doing and often wants him to eat next to her at dinner time.

No more animals for us. We have more then enough to handle.

Halloween 2012

This year for Halloween we decided to go out to Sienna and go Trick or Treating with the cousins. Last year Kelbie had just turned 1 and really wasn't into the Halloween thing. We hit a few houses on our block and called it a night. The Halloween parties in Sienna are all out. They have a block party before hand where the kids can play and there is pizza and drinks. Kelbie had so much fun playing with her cousins and all the neighbor kids. It was neat to see all the different costumes the kids had. There were princesses, super hero's of all kids, Minnie Mouses, Cupcakes, Witches and many more.

Once it got dark we headed out to get some candy. Brayden was ready and we could barely keep up with him and eventually got to far behind. It took Kelbie a couple of houses before she got the hang of picking out a piece of candy. We hadn't worked on her saying Trick or Treat but she was very polite and said Thank You to everyone she got candy from. She also didn't understand that you are supposed to take the candy home and not eat your whole bucket when you are walking. Oh well, maybe next year. Here are a few pictures from our evening with little Minnie.

Minnie Mouse (2years old)

Family Photo. These are hard to get these days!

Riding on daddy was a lot of fun

Trystan the bumble bee

She loved the wagon as long as we weren't moving

These were the best costumes of the whole evening. I am not really sure what they were called but I loved them and think I need to invest in some for many reasons

She had a lot of fun on the scooters

This was our first house so she was a little shy

This was the only picture I got of Brayden, he was busy playing with his friends

She was very careful on what piece she picked

Not Trick or Treating without eating some candy

This was my favorite of the night. She just wasn't sure what to pick

And she is done. Time for bed! She made it about an hour so not bad for our first real Trick or Treating

Community Helpers

This past Friday, Kelbie's school had a community helpers parade. I was so sad that I couldn't go but luckily Aunt Shannon was able to go and snap some pictures for me. Kelbie's class was Police Officers and I have to say the pictures that Shannon got are adorable. Kelbie was in full character and seemed to really enjoy herself. Here are a few of my favorite pictures Shannon was able to capture.

I love how she has the whistle in in mouth. She is holding
hands with her friend Bella.

Such a cutie

Checking out the Police Car

She was very intent on what the officer was saying. The other
kids apparently wanted nothing to do with it.

The Whistle. I found it in her backpack and didn't know what
it was from. Needless to say she blew this thing like crazy when
I gave it to her.

Sitting in the back of the cop car. Lets hope this never
really happens.

Photo Dump

Wearing daddy's glasses and half undressing herself

About to get a hair cut, this is one of the best smiles I have
gotten from her in a long time.

Painting! Yes she is 2 and it gets everywhere.
We always paint on a towel so that is our carpet
doesn't get messed up.

Elefun! Who remembers this game?

She gets this from her daddy!

Someone got a little tired watching the carpets being cleaned

This is how she sleeps most nights

The things a 2 year old gets into when you leave the room
for a few seconds.

Again, another 2 year old moment

She got a hold of the Vaseline, I tried to wash it out and
this is still what her hair looked like after a nap

Riding Dumbo at Walmart

Little Gym, we sure do miss that place. I hope to have her
back in it this summer. She had so much fun at her trial class
a few weeks ago.

School Pictures?

Seeing as I don't get to go to anything that Kelbie dose with school I always try to catch a few of her on our way into school if she is looking cute or if its a special day. These are just a few I have gotten since she started school. I am working on getting a better camera so I don't have to take them with my IPOD and them be kinda blurry.

Wearing a cute outfit that Nana got her

Pink Out day for Breast Cancer

She was walking down the hall like this. She is such a ham.

We always have to stop at the water fountain on the way into school every morning

Fun at the Park

It was nice the other weekend and James was home so we decided to take Kelbie to the park in Telfar. Its a little bit of a drive but its worth it because she loves the playground there, especially the big slide down the hill. I like it for that reason as well but also because there always seems to be a nice breeze blowing no matter how hot it is outside. Here are some pictures from our Saturday morning adventure.

Checking out her surroundings

She climbed but this thing basically by herself

Wouldn't be a playground without a steering wheel

"But mom I really really really want to go swimming"

2nd Brithday Party

Here are a few picture from Kelbie's 2nd Birthday

This is my favorite picture from the whole day!

She really wasn't feeling the whole party thing this year.

The kids loved all the candy from the pinata

Taking a break with Nana

Cake time

She loved blowing out her candles this year

Love this picture of Trystan and James playing together

Present time!

...and she is done!
