Tis the Season

As Christmas fastly approaches, I am once again behind on shopping. I have only picked up a few things for Kelbie and no one else. James got his big present for his birthday so he has nothing under the tree this year. I am heading to brave the stores this weekend in hopes of getting all my family and Kelbie taken care of. I also can't forget the presents from Santa.
I am finding it extra hard this year to find things for Kelbie. This kid has everything. Okay well not everything but it sure seems like it. James and I had talked about doing a big gift from Santa this year but decided maybe just a few small things. Last year she got a swing set and this year we were looking into a battery car, a mini cooper to be exact, I have decided that I can't keep buying huge gifts every year from Santa. Soon she will be able to tell me exactly what she wants and I should save the huge spends on the things she can actually tell me that she wants.

We are going to go and brave Bass Pro Shop this Sunday in hopes of a decent picture with Santa. Last year she was in tears when she saw him, I kinda expect the same thing this year. I think she is the stranger danger phase because she doesn't really like anyone but me. I love that most of the time but sometimes I wish she would love her daddy just as much so that I could get somethings done.

I am also looking forward to taking her to look at Christmas lights. She seems to be really into it this year. We decided to not decorate the outside this year so all we have up is our tree and stockings. She loves looking at the lights at my parents house and always wants to be outside when they are on. We always go out to Pecan Grove since their lights always seem to be better then others.

This post was a bunch of blabber so until next time, I will try to get some pictures of the munchkin in the holiday spirit to share and write an update on our no exciting lives soon. Happy Holidays everyone!

Oliver

Meet Oliver:

He is the newest member of the Willyard family. He is about 7 to 8 weeks old. We found him on Hilcroft and 90 going to my parents house a couple weeks ago. He was almost hit be a car several times and James and I just going bare to see him get hit. We picked him up and took him home with us. He was very malnuristed, had a bloated tummy, horrible fleas, and some open wounds. I dropped him off at the vet on Monday so they could look him over. The doctor wasn't totally sure if he would pull through, but she didn't exactly say that. She said to keep him warm, clean, gave him some worm treatments and an antibiotic and to follow up in a week. On our second visit he got a better bill of health but still wanted us to continue the antibiotic and come back in another week. When we returned for our 3rd visit he was doing much better, all the worms were gone, he wasn't as bloated, he had fattened up a little and the fleas were gone, but he had developed a mange so we are now treating that with wipes once a day and they gave him his first set up shots and a does of advantage to see if that would help with the mange. So after a week and a half of not knowing for sure if he would pull through it looks like he is ours to keep.

He loves to run around the house and keep me up all night. He is very active but also a little stinker too. Him and Indiana do not get along and I don't see them getting along anytime soon, but he is here to stay so hopefully they will start to get along. The dogs on the other hand love him. Especially Jersey they love to play together and I have even caught them sleeping together. I will have to try and get a picture next time.

Kelbie is very excited to finally have her very own kitty that she can pick up and play with. She is always very concerned with what he is doing and often wants him to eat next to her at dinner time.

No more animals for us. We have more then enough to handle.
