Packing

So the packing has officially begun and James and I attacked most of the house tonight. We actually dont have that much more to do and some of which we can't do until we get ready to move, like the week of.

We headed over to the new house today and got to look at what all we were going to need to do before we could move  in as of April. We will be spending alot of time over there come March 1st. We have to fix part of the fence out back that has been down since Hurricane Ike, we are going to paint the whole house, do a few patching and whatnot repairs around the house and redue the whole kitchen and tile both of the bathrooms. I am quite excited about this now, but I think my feelings might change once we actually start doing it.  We went to Lowes today and price a new fridge, cook top, tile, faucets, dishwasher cover and paint. I will be posting pictures of the before and after once we get started.

We went to see Dave Ramsey yesterday and  Relient. He was doing his Totally Money Makeover speech live and it was pretty good. I think James finally saw where I was coming from on my points to pay off our debt. Now I am sure our Debt wasnt near as much as some if not most of the people there but we do still have our fair share that I would like to get rid of most if not all before we have a kid. I am hoping his plans are going to work for us.

As for everything else, Life is going pretty good. James and I are both still working alot and loving our jobs, I actually just got promoted on Friday which is going to be an adventure but fun. I really do love what I am doing now and think it is going to work out in the long run for me.

Well I am off to finish some laundry and maybe some more packing, but BED is sounding pretty good right about now. Must finish packing tomorrow on my day off so that we dont have much to do and aren't living in boxes for the next 4 weeks. Hope everyone has a good week.

Life is Unexpected

This week has been crazy. We started the new semester at Little Gym on Monday and we found out on Tuesday that one of our managers Alex lost her father. He was a well known Architect here in the Houston area and will be missed by many. She is taking a long leave of absence so we spent all day Tuesday getting her shifts covered. I work 10.5 hours on Tuesday alone. I had started full time this semster and hand almost 30 hours without Birthday Parties. Now will Alex being gone I am working 38 hours without birthdays, so I will be pushing overtime once I have to work parties. We all miss Alex very much and are sending all our prayers and thoughts with her and her family. Melissa, Courtney, Katie and I are all going to be going to the Wake tomorrow night. Please keep her and her family in your prayers as well.

On a lighter note, Jersey will be taking her first training class on Saturday at 3pm. This is much needed and I really hope it is going to help. Lizzie will be attending next as soon as Jersey finishes her course. I am also in the process of packing. I thought I was going to be able to do it slowly but now with the hours I am working, it only gives me 1 day off which means instead of 5 weeks to pack I know only get about 5 days to pack. It wont be that hard I just have to motivate myself to get the ball going on everything. I am very excited about the move at the end of February though,

Cold Weather & Such

Serously, I like cold weather but this cold weather is a bit crazy. I feel like I moved up north overnight. I guess I can break out all the cute boots and scraves that I have at least for the weekend.

On other notes, Jeresey will be starting training classes on the 23rd. Lets hope this helps and after her 8 week class next will be Lizzie. Well worth the money on all levels. Also I am going to be dying my hair a much darker color next weekend and I am excited about, just a little nervous that it wont come out the way I want it to. Good thing is that I really trust the guy who is going to be doing it and if it doesn't come out right I am pretty sure he can fix it for me.

The new semester at Little Gym starts on the 18th and I am excited to be getting full-time (3hrs a week without birthday partys) so basically if people book birthday parties like they have been I will be look at about 35-38 hours. YES! and I still get Saturdays off.

Our lease is up in what we call our first home at the end of February and our house is not avalible till April 1st, so thanks to my loving brother and sister-in-law we will be staying with them for the month of March until our house is open. We might actually be in by the middle of March so that will be good. Thanks so much for letting us stay with you in advance.

4 1/2 months until our mini anniversary vaca that James has no idea about thanks to my awesome behind his back planning. Nothing expensive by any means but I do hope he will like it and then after that we have less then a month this Vicki and Adam's wedding in New York. I am looking forward to that mini vacation I just wish we could stay longer and do more sight seeing as, James nor my parents have ever been to that part of New York.

Off to relax and find away to get the dogs to calm down after being stuck inside all day due to the weather and me being a work.
