Our 1st House

Well we have 2 room almost completly done at the house and will be finishing the other rooms this weekend. We have our kitchen unpacked and even started hanging pictures in the living room. I might try to tackle the master bedroom tonight. We decided to wait and remodel the kitchen until this summer when we will also be tackling the babies room. We should be living in the house by Easter weekend and are looking forward to having our house warming party sometime in May. The house should be somewhat in order by then. I am just finally glad that we can actually start decorating and things like that in the house. It seems like it has taken forever to get in there. As soon as I find my camera I will get some pictures up. Lets hope that the renters that were there before us are actually done getting their things out as of this evening. Oh on another note about the house. Thanks to this awesome COLD FRONT, the house has been freezing because for some reason our gas didn't get turned on and of course there isnt' anything you can do about it on the weekends. Hoping to have heat tomorrow so that it doesn't feel like a deep freezer in our house.

In the baby news, I am a little over 10 weeks now and ready to be past the 1st trimester so that food will sound appealing again. Everything is going good and I go back to the doctor on the 29th for another appointment and a Down Syndrome test. I am very excited for May when we find out what we are having. I am very excited about everything and I think it is finally starting to sink in with James and my dad. James and I both think we are having a boy but we have a few family members who have high hopes that it will be a girl.

Making Progress!

We are finally making a little bit of progress in the house. I am hoping by Wed. we will have some of it painted. Our stuff is moving in on Saturday even if the house isn't ready. Our storage is up and I do not want to pay for a month there. Way more then I would want to pay anyway. Since it is Spring Break my mom and I are spending most of our time over there doing things and having people come out and give us qoutes. Things will hopefully settle down here in the next couple of weeks and we will have a house again to finally call home. Then it will be time to have the house warming party and get ready for baby :)

Tenative Move In

We will finally be able to get into our house on March 15th to start fixing things, painting and remodeling. Our goal is to be into the house as of April 1st but if we can get everything done by then, we can move in over Easter weekend which I will have off. So that might be a better time. At least we have a date as to when the current tenants will be out. Now we get to go shopping for the kitchen remodel and the repairs that we have to make before we can actually move it. I am hoping to be able to post pictures soon of the new house. Also if know anyone who can fix a flooding problem in our backyard let me know. I think we are going to have to have it leveled again and I am sure that is going to cost a lot of money. We do have our fence up now though. Yay! Well off to work PSN at work.
