Good Bye 2010

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year. 2010 was a pretty good year for us even though  we did have a few bumps in the  road.  In FEBRUARY we found out we were pregnant, MARCH we moved into our first home, APRIL we celebrated our first wedding anniversary, MAY we learned we were having a girl and my best friend finally got married, AUGUST  we celebrated Brayden's 2nd birthday, OCTOBER we welcomed our baby girl Miss Kelbie Cheyenne, NOVEMBER we celebrated James's 27th and my 25th birthdays. I won't mention our bumps, but if you are close to our family you already know. I am excited to see what 2011 has in store for us, I am hoping all good things, and for those who keep asking there will NOT be a new baby for us in 2011, check back in maybe 2012 or 2013.

Kelbie's 1st Christmas

Kelbie's first Christmas turned out better then I could have expected. She got a ton of gifts that will keep her busy in the months to come. She is for sure spoiled. From us and Santa she got mostly clothes since she is growing like a weed and can already wear 6 months at almost 3 months. We also got her Christmas books, a mirror for her crib, diapers and bottles. She made out very well from my family. She got clothes, toys, a giraffe that make soothing sounds and a ladybug that displays stars on the ceiling. Needless to say this Christmas was all about her but James and I did get some good things. James got this really cool wrestling encyclopedia of the WWE, pj pants, clothes, a wii game and a few other small things. I got pjs, a few movies, I Love Lucy puzzles and a few other things. Bob (Danny's Dad) got us a gift card to Olive Garden which we are really looking forward to using. It has been what seems like forever since James and I went to eat at a restaurant. Overall Christmas was very good and I look forward to the Christmas's to come with Kelbie and in a few years her little brother or sister. I hope everyone had a great Christmas. Here are a few of my favorite pictures that I took of her first Christmas.

Taken to young

I found out on Christmas that a good friend of mine from High School passed away on  Christmas Eve. I hadn't spoken to her since my wedding, but it was still really sad news to hear. They are not sure what happened to her so they are doing and autopsy and her funeral will be sometime this  week. I am hoping to go to the funeral if my working schedule allows. It is sad to hear that someone so young was taken from us. I know she is in a better place now and not suffering. I am praying for her family as they go through this  tough time. I wanted to post a few pictures of us from back in High School having a good time. I will always remember the times we shared and they memories we made even though we didn't stay close after High  School. I will miss you Jenn.

Merry Christmas!

I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas and Kelbie's first. I am excited to see what all she gets from family and Santa. Here are a few pictures that we did at home to show off her many Christmas outfits. I hope everyone has an amazing  Christmas and I look forward to reading about every one's and blogging about ours. MERRY CHRISTMAS.

2 Month Check Up

Kelbie had her 2 month check up on December 13. She is doing good and growing very fast. I knew she was going to continue to be big since she was a birth, but she amazes me each time we go to the doctor for her check ups.

Height: 24in 95%
Head: 16 1/4 95%
Weight: 14lbs 5oz 95%

She is starting rice cereal at her last evening feeding in hopes that it will fill her up more and maybe she will start sleeping through the night. She is growing like a weed and I can't believe it has already been 2 months. I have started packing up most of her 3 month clothing as she is wearing 3-6months for the most part. She does still have a few 3 months that she can fit into. Its a good thing she has some friends that are around the same age that are smaller then her, so that we can hand down some of her things that I have recently bought and she has outgrown. At least that way I don't feel like I am totally wasting money and cute outfits.

I am excited to post about Kelbie's 1st Christmas as I know she will be getting very spoiled by her Aunt & Uncle and her Granddaddy & Nana. James and I didn't buy her to much this year. We are saving our Spoiling for when she is older and understands Christmas.

Good News!

Kelbie's ENT appointment went good. Everything looks good and we will do a follow up in  a year. They will do the surgery on her ear when she is about 6 and that is when she have an MRI  to check the  inner ear and everything. It sucks that we have to wait that long, but I guess it is a good thing too. She will have some hearing lose in that ear once the surgery is done. I am very happy that everything  else turn  out normal and she is a very healthy baby!

Tis The Season

So it is December 4th and I am done Christmas shopping. We went very cheap this year since I am not working, but that is okay. We will make it up next year. Kelbie made out the best from us, but it is her  first Christmas. I know she wont remember it but  I still wanted to make sure she  had a good amount of things. Most of what she got was clothes. I did get her a few practical things that she will use for more then a few months. Next year I am looking forward to being part of the  whole Black Friday thing. I think we are going  to go up to San Marcus  and do the outlet shopping. I know I might be crazy for wanting to do that, but I love all the stores up there and sometimes things are cheaper then  they would be here. I will also have a  one year old so things  might change.

Other updates in our lives...
*I tried to make amends with my in-laws that live down here and it totally backfired. I was a little upset at first, but there is nothing I can do about it and it still sucks because of Kelbie but it is there lose.
*Kelbie has a  follow up with the ENT next Thursday to go over the test that we had  done back in November. She had a hearing test to make sure she could hear out of both ears and she had an ultrasound to check on her Kidneys. I am pretty sure everything is fine, but I am still a little nervous about going to the follow up in case there is  some bad news. I also will have to ask her about doing and MRI to check the inner ear on the side that didn't develop to see if the bones are there. That will determine how much surgery will really have to be done in the future.

I think that is about all that is  going on in our lives at the moment. I don't know if I will blog again before Christmas so if not I hope everyone has a great holiday and a good New Year. Maybe I will have something cool to blog about after the holidays.

Cousin Pictures

So today we took Brayden and Kelbie to get some Christmas pictures together. Here are the ones that turned out cute. Kelbie was content sleeping almost the whole time and  Brayden really didn't want to take pictures today. We got the ones that we really wanted so that is all that matters. There is one more really cute one that I will post after Christmas of the two of them.
