James and I decided to take a weekend getaway for our anniversary. We had originally planned on going to Dallas but decided the beach would be more fun. Well needless to say it stormed the whole time. We made the best of it though. We drove into Lake Jackson Saturday and walked the mall and saw Furious 7. We got back to the beach house around 2pm and the sun was finally starting to come out. We drove into Galveston for dinner at Mario's and walked the strand. I as hoping for some sun Sunday morning before we left but it was nothing but rain again, so we headed home early to grab the kids. We both missed them a ton and are planning on taking them down there in the next couple of weeks.

James realized Monday that he didn't have his wallet and we ended up driving back to Surf Side Monday night to find it. He had left it on the couch. The kids got to stand in the sand for a minute and see the water, but it was much cooler then it was in Sugar Land and it was getting close to bedtime, so we didn't stay long. Kelbie was so excited and kept asking when we were going to come back because she wanted to stay at the beach house. Funny thing is she hate the water but loves being at the beach house and on the sand as long as she doesn't have to go near the ocean.
