Kelbie had her first loose tooth last week. She noticed it last weekend and has worked all week to get it out. She wouldn't let me pull it, so Sunday night she asked for an apple and in about 5 minutes she comes out crying with blood in her mouth. Her tooth was hanging and by the time we rinsed her mouth it was out. She was so sad, mostly because of the blood. I grabbed her tooth to rinse it off and it fell down the drain. That gave her something to laugh at while we cleaned her mouth up and daddy when fishing for her tooth. The tooth was found and put under her pillow for her first visit from the tooth fairy. After a million questions about what the tooth fairy looks like, what she does with the teeth, what she brings in exchange for the teeth, she finally went to sleep. The next morning the tooth fairy had left her two sparkly dollar bills.
On to the next tooth.
