I really must blog Weekly

So since our Kansas trip, I have officially started my new job, we have a new niece, Kelbie's birthday party planning is in full swing and I am ready for a vacation with just James.

I have one week down at my new job and so far it is going good. I am still learning things but becoming more comfortable in my shoes here. I think in a few more weeks I will be comfortable doing all the different things I might have to do. I spend most of my time in the clinic, that is where my desk and things are. I do basic clinic things, taking care of the kids when they come in with the nurse note, giving out med and inhalers, taking heights and weights, etc. Then I help the counselor out with monitoring testing, getting packets together, filling folders and basically anything else she might need me to do. I also get the pleasure of covering the front desk at times and classes if a teacher needs to step out. So far the 2 classes I have watched have been pretty good. I am favoring second grade at the moment.

James's job is still going. His busy season is over but for some reason (people he works with can't do there jobs right) he is still working overtime. He is usually home during the week by around 6 and then will work late Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This week though he is working late every night and on the weekend. I know I will get to see him next weekend since that is when we are having Kelbie's birthday.  I am used to him working all the time it just sucks somethings. It really annoys me now that I am working a Monday-Friday job. I feel like I get off work, pick up Kelbie and then I spend the rest of the evening making dinner, cleaning the house or doing laundry and playing with Kelbie. When James isn't working he can at least watch Kelbie while I do the things around the house.

We have a new niece now. Kiara Mary Jane Lewis was born on September 21,2011 weighing 5lbs 14oz 18in.  She is James's sister Mollie's baby.  We probably wont meet her until she is about a year old, just like they did with Kelbie, but we have seen a few pictures. She is a tiny thing. I still don't think I would know what to do with a small baby. I am almost positive our next one will be big just like Kelbie, I am actually hoping for a little smaller like 8lbs.  Anyway, so Mollie is adjusting to motherhood. She has been texting me some with questions since I recently went through it. She had a c-section though so its a little bit different but I try to help as much as I can.

Lastly, our little girl will by ONE in 2 short weeks. I can't believe the time has already flown by. I am very ready to have her party.  My mom and I have been working for well over a month getting everything together and thanks to my mom be creative and crafty we have have been able to make most of the decorations.  I am looking forward to seeing family and Kelbie's friends and getting to play some fun games and just have a good time. I do know that next years party will not be this elaborate. I mean I am spending like $140 on her cake alone. Who really does that? I never had cakes that expensive, mine where always made by my mom or bought from Sam's. That is what will be happening next year and it will be some cute theme that I can find at Party City. Don't get me wrong the Zebra/Pink theme is very cute and it hasn't been that hard to find things, but I should have gone with like Monkeys or something. That stuff is everywhere. I had to order alot of the zebra stuff off line, like balloons, the pinata, her outfit, etc.  There will be a picture post of all this craziness once it happens. I do think it is going to turn out really cute and I know she will never remember but that is what pictures are for.

Hope everyone has an awesome week and weekend. We will be doing Kelbie's one year old photos on Sunday so lets hope she is in a good mood and not having a melt down. I will be chasing her everywhere now that she is a walking machine. Pics to come.
